As mentioned before I've got a bit side tracked on the Vitesse restoration. I've been sorting the worst of the bodywork out on the GT6. Working outside is a pain in the ass, generally as soon as I get the welder out it starts to rain. I have a workshop but no way of getting a car in there unless its in bits. so between showers I've been putting the vitesse suspension together. I want to make up some lower wishbones with rose joints on the outside and a polly bush on the inboard. This was discussed on the forum in 2008 and suggested by GT6Steve and Dave. Found a site on ebay, McGill Motorsport http://stores.ebay.co.uk:80/McGill-Motorsports__W0QQ_fsubZ7241807QQ_scZ1QQ_sopZ2 that sells the joints ect. Dave suggested 1/2 x1/2 rose joints but not sure what tube diameter or wall thickness to use. Thought about 1" tube with 1/8 thickness. Just want to make them strong and safe when four-up but with the advantage of being able to adjust camber and castor. I was also thinking about the trailing arms as the center threaded section has rusted away. Just want to get away from the squiggy feel of the original set-up.

Any suggestions on brand / make of tyre? it will be a (fast) road car.
Best suppliers for the tyres?
